This pair of 1940s Nordic ski boots were transformed to create two unique traveling golf trophies. Golf cleats were added to the soles of the boots before they were preserved with a bronze finish. These trophies are presented to the winners of an annual golf tournament between two rival universities. The Dean of the winning school's team is presented with the glass case trophy, while the team members get bragging rights and possession of the mounted boot trophy. |
